Default Fall run part 3 ''jetty's''

Jetty fishing is my favorite and probably the most productive.First off if you dont have some type of cleats stay off!Jetty's are great fish attractors they provide food and shelter for everything that swims along the beach. You can break up a jetty into 3 sections the base, middle and tip. Most bases will have a pocket on either side which is another good spot for your swimmers and bucktails, casting into the pockets can be done from the sand or off the jetty itself. The middle is great for casting parallel to the sand bars at different angles. The tip is where the fun starts, allot of fish hang at the tip waiting for bait to travel around the jetty and is a great ambush spot, its also a great spot to get hurt as the waves will be crashing around you so be carefull. When fishing a jetty pick a spot where you can climb down into the rocks to retrieve a fish, lifting one up will only result in a broken rod. There are many different kinds of currents created also, eddies are at the tip and bases and outflows are made as the water rushes back out along the jetty. These are just a few quick pointers to help catch more fish
