![]() We have a real fight on our hands people. Lots of States to our north either support a full or partial closure and they have votes that count toward the final outcome.
And I thought this whole time the cutbacks were federally mandated by NOAA under the and Magnuson act and they were forced into doing this. They are not and it’s the ASMFC and the Atlantic Striped Bass Management Board who arbitrarily decided to slam on the brakes with the encouragement from states to our north. So it’s more important than ever to stack the deck with we want status quo comments at these meetings and written comments. The northern states who have brief fisheries don’t care if it gets shut down or they have some season closures… They have very few fish up there and a very short season so they won’t suffer like we do and think they might get more fish up there eventually by making us suffer. Bottom line is we need flood the meetings and write in comments with our support of status quo or we’re sitting ducks. Do it now https://www.votervoice.net/mobile/KA...129953/Respond
