![]() Beautiful day for mid December. Light wind and sunshine. Fishermen tried various lures and had success. The mates told me, however, that I was high hook with 19. Kept 1 bonus fish (24" to 28") and 1 "slot" about 29". No "overs" for me. I tried only 1 lure, a 2-1/2oz gold Kandlefish spoon. It seems most every year, I write a report of late=season striper fishing with a Kandlefish. Its my go-to lure at this time of the year. And, no, I am not a kandlefish rep. Probably no one is a rep. The lure was available from Yellow Bird Products but has been "manufacture discontinued" for some time.

![]() I was the one keeping a tally. The lure worked great, but I think it was the angler! Nice work on that trip.
