Spring crappie and trout

Saturday did some PA browns. Action was GOOD until ~11:30am, still had a few hits later. They were jumping like smallmouth and it was beautiful.

Last week did some after-work raritan sessions, not much to show. Tried again this morning and got a nice smb. Afterwards hit a nearby creek with a bridge and it was drop-n-reel slab fest with crappie. in 12 minutes caught about 10 crappie.

Fun stuff in the pouring rain! It's only when i stop fishing that the rain stops too! lol i gotta go back out.

Nice report! Those crappies can be a lot of fun! FYI the Canal pickerel bite is hot now.

thanks dan! i didnt even give it a shot yet! weightless flukes on wire leaders WILL be thrown one evening this week gonna be hard tho.. the river is keeping me busy
