Are these my only options right now for bottom fishing? Yikes!!

Plenty of Ling, Tog and winter flounder out there, plus seabass back open Oct 8 @ 10 per man 12.5". Cant beat the weather so just go and have some fun while giving the for hire guys some business.

Depends on where and how you're fishing. Spanish Mack's and bonito around. Porgies are delicious too. Loaded the freezer.

You could make the drive north & fish for pollock, cod, or haddock.

Or stay closer to home, nothing wrong with porgies, take a kid or new person fishing, or bring enough for dinner to a friend or neighbor. These may just be the "good old days" down the road....

Prime time for crabbing also.
