Plenty of Ling, Tog and winter flounder out there, plus seabass back open Oct 8 @ 10 per man 12.5". Cant beat the weather so just go and have some fun while giving the for hire guys some business.

You could make the drive north & fish for pollock, cod, or haddock.
Or stay closer to home, nothing wrong with porgies, take a kid or new person fishing, or bring enough for dinner to a friend or neighbor. These may just be the "good old days" down the road.... Prime time for crabbing also.
