Default Saturday's Forecast

I'm looking to head out to the Bluefin grounds this Saturday.NOAA is calling for 3 to 5 foot waves. Does anyone have a reliable offshore forecast for Saturday
.

I personally don’t trust NE wind forecasts in this area. The boat I was going to go out on, we scrapped plans though we could handle it. We all have the feeling whatever we decide to do, the opposite will occur. We are going with other plans for the weekend and trying to plan a mid week trip instead. If it is 3-5’ makes jigging a whole lot easier.

Fishweather.com has the texas tower winds a 7 to 11 out of the ENE with 2 to 3 foot waves... Not a great forecast but not too bad if it stays as forecasted and you're on a decent size boat.

I agree that anything with a East and North in it is cause for concern, but with the big high pressure system over us and decent forecasts for the day before and after, I would be less concerned..

Good luck.

Sounds pretty good to me , I’d be more concerned if if there were stronger winds forecasted late in day !
Like was said depending on boat doesn’t look like a bad day ! Little chop is always a plus !

FW shows wave direction out of SSE, if there is a strong tide it could wind up being a confused wave pattern which is never fun even at 3-5 ft.
