anyone have any luck bottom fishing the past few days for ling/cod ? was thinking of doing magic hours on Norma K tonight, but wanted to see how it has been before I made the long drive. thanks !

I went yesterday on a 12 hr trip .. The ling fishing was very slow. I had 5 and the few guys around me had 1 each. Dogfish and congers dominated. There was no cod caught that I saw.

thanks for the info....I was going to go on the 12 hour trip on the Jamaica II yesterday, but you are right, 5 ling in 12 hours is pretty slow....thanks again

Current has been keeping us out of the deep, eels have been fierce to frightening in the shallows. When conditions are right, Ling fishing has been decent with 15-25 a man averages. Unfortunately this past week conditions sucked
