We started out fluke fishing and got lucky on beginning of outgoing tide and carried the fish until dusk when we switched over to porgy fishing which was good for the first hour then a lull and was picking up again at the end of the nite. There was a very small crowd down for such a nice nite. We will be sailing tonite at 6;30 for fluke and porgies and for info 908-930-2335.

if my hooks werent made of rubber,
i would have had at least 6 keeper fluke, i did end up with 2 keepers any way, the others swam away to fight another day. then on to porgies, you gotta love a little fish that fights so hard. i dont realy care to eat them, but if they are good size i give them to who ever wants them, the others go back to catch there breath from the fight i also had 2 striped ones (shorts). great night on the water with a great capt and crew![]() |
