Avery Lynn out there again Saturday

Got out with a couple buddies of mine for some sea bass action and stripers as well. Wind and waves didnt cooperate for sea bass on the spot lock so we switched over for some morning striped bass action. Good thing we did! Plenty of birds and fish in 70 ft of water all day it seemed. I caught 1 well over 40 inches...was off my 36 fishstix ...in the 43-44 inch range. Dave and Dave each had a couple in the high 30s as well. Couldn't keep one fish but thats ok....was great to put them back to swim again! Throwing A-47 plain was the hot ticket.

Went to work on the Sea Bass on some structure finally once the wind came down in the morning and got a nice limit of 30 fish to take home. had striped bass pop up around us all day but just out of casting range while we were bottom fishing. Saw a couple Tuna air out as well just southeast of us. One of the Dave's caught a couple eels...as did I. Someone back home wanted the slimy things....ick.

It was a great day on the water as it got calmer as the day went along. Nice ride back to the barn around 3pm. Check out the couple pics I got on the Instagram link below.
