GAMBLER --Striper and Offshore Sea Bass Report
Our offshore sea bass trip on Monday was good fishing. You had to work at it but I believe everyone caught their limit. Some extra big porgies in the mix, too. One more trip, leaving Sunday night into Monday. Still spots available.
Went out for striped bass today. Slow morning but by 11AM I saw some readings and we caught a good mix of slots and bonus fish with a few throw-backs. We did not have enough to go tomorrow (Friday) But will be headed out Saturday by 7:30 Wind and seas look good --don't let a little rain keep you home; we all have rain gear

For our offshore sea bass trip: I had been monitoring the weather. It looked like the winds and seas forecast were diminishing but now looks worse, with winds up to 40 knots. So we are cancelling. Tomorrow will most likely be our final trip of the season.
