Default Roosters Flukin 7-19-2017

Hot,hot, hot, fishing not so much. Tom and I tried the ocean past the nude beach for three short Fluke and all the doggies you could want, water was warm, no Skates. Back inside hoping for change of tide bite, three short Fluke. I would like to report Sea Robins are plentiful again. Pete

I just want to say Pete's reports are the most accurate on the board. I fish the same areas as Pete and experience the the same results as he discribes. Keep up the reports Pete, appreciate them.... Walt

Been following Pete's reports for many years, here and on a few other fishing sites.. always look forward to reading them, and enjoy his posts.
they do seem to stay close in, mostly bay, river, and nearshore ocean, which is good for the many guys that can't range too far from the ramp.

From what I have read this season, the rough bottom thats more associated with tog, seabass, and porgies are about the only place to catch any fluke at this point.
