New YEARS Walleye 1/1/16

Rolling into the New Year in absolute BEAST MODE! FISH OR DIE! Had the pleasure of doing some New Years Day fishing with Ken, Mikey and Rocco. Great day to be out with these MANIACS. Wind was blowing and the snowflakes were falling during this trip. Mikey and Rocco had the hot hand on the Green Hornet while Ken and I worked hard for the 6-7 fish we got into the boat. I think the Green Hornet landed more than a couple limits today making for a great show. Everytime I looked over my shoulder the net was out. Way to go fellaz. All quality fish!

Myself and Ken were all over the place putting in work for the fish we did catch. Some were short but I did manage 1 nice keeper @ 25 inches to start the New Year off right. Good looking fish but not much in her stomach. Ended the day jigging up a 28 inch 10lb class Channel Cat that put up a hell of a battle on the super ultra lite jigging rod. They're moving in and once they do they take over the entire area. Overall a phenom day on the water despite the hangover and lack of appetite from last nights shenanigans, LOL. I love fishing with these guys and would do it everyday if I could. Thanx for coming out Ken. It was an enjoyable day despite the wind. Heres a few pics from the 1st day of the year.
