FISH STIX - 10/23, 10/24 Seabass
Friday 10/23 had Sals charter of 5 for seabass. Headed off the beach and decided it was a bit rough and switched gears to stripers. That lasted 5 minutes. The guys wanted to blackfish. Went right on the beach and set up. Horrible bite, in fact barley one at all. Couple moves and only managed 3 keeper blackfish. Switched it back to seabass for the last hour of the day and boxed over 30 keeper seabass rather quickly to save the day. Congrats to Sals son Dan on his wedding today...... Sucker!!!!
Saturday 10/24 had crew of 6 for seabass. Decided to try something new since everything near us is getting picked clean. First stop was mostly shorts. Next stop was great boxing some nice keepers. Few more stops on the day catching a load of shorts. But wasn't too bad. The Guys boxed up around 60 keepers on day.  Gonna pass on tomorrow's forecast. We'll see what Monday brings us  Capt Kris
