![]() Woke up this morning and saw a thick blanket of fog out the window, and started licking my chops at the perfect bass fishing weather! I headed down to Spring Lake and hit it hard with about half of my tackle box. Lots of activity, but I only landed four bass in about four hours, the biggest at about 2 pounds. Tons of bluegill on beds, and a few bass spawning as well. Several other anglers out, mostly soaking bait.

But I won't be around at all, so don't even bother to call, Cause on a day like today there's one place I gotta be: GONE FISHIN' Fishing with LardAlmighty on YouTube Last edited by Lard Almighty; 04-23-2017 at 01:07 PM.. |

![]() Watched your video Lard. I used to fish Spring Lake as a kid when I was down visiting my aunt in Belmar. How is it post Sandy? That one cove looks like prime Frog fishing as you said seems a bit early for Frogs but once that cheesy slop takes its toll frogging all day!
