Default Local Troutin' with the kid

Heard rumors of a decent bite close to home, so me and Bubba hit a couple spots this week...fish were/are all over but real weary of hitting...My brother in law got 2 on Easter, and the kid got one today, all on Butters.....I had the hot hand on Saturday, at a spot few miles away with 3, all on lures...First expedition in waders for Bubba and I, so I am sure we are spooking a ton of fish, plus the spot we're fishing has a ton of fishing pressure, seems like they have seen everything and don't want to hit all that often....can't believe these fish are stacked up in a fairly 'urban' setting, too...
Bubba's brownie from today...( I talked to him about how to better handle a fish after this pic)

the kid stealing one of my Saturday fish for a pic..

Brother in law with one of his from saturday

Monster sucker from the other day for good measure, too

Great report dude! Love seeing the kid on the fish! You got me all amped up to get my son out there. Very nice!

Reaching the kid how to fish the right way and follow the rules, that's PRICELESS!!! You got a good team going, keep at it!!!! Great job! That's one ugly Sucker, probably thought it was a BREEDER BROWN TROUT!!!

It's just awesome to see that you have your son wadered up, catching fish, and sporting an ear to ear grin! Great stuff dude. I'm heading out tomorrow morning for them trout... Not too far from the spots I PM'ed you a while back.

Thumbs up Re: Local Troutin' with the kid

I bet that sucker fought really well. Problem with kids and waders is they will out grow them in a year or two. Great photos !!
