Thinking about coming down from NY state... It looks from the reports like the tog might be into the winter doldrums.. Yes I know, big fish in Jan and all that, but IMHO when that water drops to around 40 degrees Tog don't hit as well.. Just getting cold for optimum activity...
Wondering if any boats are doing combination tog/ling or something similar if the tog bite is dead slow.. I have a boat or two in mind, but maybe somebody knows better than I do about whats happening, and what my best bet will be.. Please feel free to PM about NS trips as well... bob |

We also had a good day on the Atlantic Star of of AH. I myself had 4 keepers and it was only my 2nd time togging. The pool winner was 10+Lbs.

Thanks guys, tog it is... I will bring a rod rigged for ling, and sacrifice the first few bergals I catch for cut bait and see if there are a few ling as well.. I guess a lot depends on how well the tog bite.... bob
