Great fall pike day on the river
I only spent a couple of hours on the river this morning, but it was pretty steady action with pike and a couple pickerel. It started out with no wind when I launched at about 8, but at 10 the wind picked up and I was off the river. A couple of the regular spots held fish and another spot held a couple of good ones. Most of the fish were in the low 20"'s range with these two being the only ones picture worthy.
A few deer sighted and a bald eagle flying just over the trees for 10 minutes made it a great fall morning on the river. Now back in the tree for me this week !!!!   Danny V

Great fall pike!! Tried for an hour myself today and got the skunk.
 Lol, river is crazy low. I love how your below the roots!! Took this while I was out...... I'm pretty much standing in the center of a wide stretch. Couple carp scurrying away where the only signs of life I saw.............

Nice pike. You must know that section of river well to be able to find fish during this drought. I didn't even bother this weekend. There is no rain in forecast except a low chance on Wednesday and a better chance of Friday. .

You really are the pike master man. Looks like you got yourself a nice honey hole or two on that river. I hope to one day find me some honey holes there too! So far every time I've gone I left with the skunk

Try leaving the skunk there next time I'm sure it stinks up the car pretty bad!!!LOL And catch a few fish instead!!!

It looks like it's a good time to scout the river with it being so low, for us who don't know it.
