Default Spruce run reservoir

Got the skunk today but marked many fish even chasing schools, missed one that took my herring but don't know what it was, and my cousin caught a dink sunnie and had a nice smallmouth by the boat which snapped his line. But was good to be out on new water and meeting couple guys from the site. Maybe ill catch my first hybrid at the meet and greet.

LOL, Spoke to Bicey this morning and he's Tearin Em' Up!!!!! If the weather holds off I'm doing the turn around tomorrow!!!
REFUSE TO LOOSE!! Determination is a HUGE part of fishing and I know not everyone has a lot of time to do it but You need to be determined your attempt
to catch them wiley rascles! If you just go whenever and throw a line out you MIGHT get lucky and catch one! If you want to catch them with any success you need to:
1. Be On The Water
2. Do your homework and have some knowledge of the fish your seeking
3. Be set up properly as far as your tackle
4. DO NOT GIVE UP!!!!!
There's several guys on the site who are excellent Hybrid Anglers and can cut your learning curve down quite a bit BUT all that said it is still up to you!!!!!!
NOT RANTING BY ANY MEANS JUST TRYING TO MOTIVATE YOU SO YOU CAN EXPERIENCE THE FEELING OF SUCESS!!!!!!!

I love fishing SR when it is way down, gotta launch on the gravel bank to the right, or is it the left, depends on how ya call it, and the fish are concentrated.
Had some great days there with the LM and SM bass with a few pike in the mix.
Not into draggin bait, so I havent caught hybrids, but have seen them caught by others

NOT a BAIT HATER! I just use lures only and respect the right of others that use bait as a means of catching fish. Bait may be more productive in certain circumstances, cool with that, I just don't use it. Draggin bait or draggin plastic, hey we all report our success.
