Newport RI Cod Trip
I fished with my Blackfish connection yesterday. We had tough anchoring conditions but we were able to scratch out a decent day. I got 9 keeper Cod & we wound up with 28 good size fish for 5 people so I guess it's wasn't such a bad day. Pictured is my son in Law Matt with a nice Cod. Sorry but this picture was taken from my camera phone I couldn't fit all the fish into the picture.

If it eats Green Crabs it's a Blackfish. If it hates Blackfisherman it's the NMFS.

Nice report , those RI trips always produce. Thats a very nice load of fish. I am so glad your crew was able to beat the conditions and come up with a nice catch. 9 cod for you that's great. You da man your Buddy Topeka .
