It was another good trip to the offshore wrecks today. Limits of Giant Sea Bass, a number of jumbo porgies each, and limits of bluefish, were had by all on board today along with a few Pollock and cod up to 35LBS.
Also one bonito!
The pool winners were:
Chris McQueen from Rockland NY (FDNY) with a 35LB Pollock, his limit of sea bass, a limit of bluefish, and a few porgies.
Arthur Galdames from Manhattan NY with a 16LB Pollock and a limit of sea bass and some porgies.

The water temperature is still 52 to 54 degrees so we should continue to have good fishing as the offshore migration is in full swing and more fish are moving in every day.

The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail offshore every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday leaving 11PM the night before.

Any chance you guys gonna add a day (Sunday) for the holiday weekend? Only day I could go.

How insane is it that a bonita was caught in 200 feet of water this time of year. You never know what these deep water wreck trips will produce this time of year. Amazing!
