Mixed bag 9/6

Last class of the day got cancelled, stopped by Farrington on the way back. Got 2 crappies and a perch while jigging, then float fished with trout magnets, 2 pumpkin seeds. tried bass fishing the lily pads with a football head jig, nothing. i was never really a fan of punching jigs in heavy cover and im not sure if i was doing it right so i gave frogging a shot. latley i've been missing fish on them but today i made up for it....got 2 short bass but one had the chunkiest belly ever, like it swallowed a huge bullfrog or field mouse earlier the other was caught in open water doing the "walking the dog" retrieve.

Fishing the pads at Farrington is one of my favorites from my boat.

I have tried the frog presentations but keep coming back to the super fluke...tried and true, weedless and deadly
