Default Float trip on the Delaware River

Fished Shawnee area for a few hours this morning. I ended up with 16 smallies. Nothing big- between 7 -13 inches. On the boat we had 37 smallmouth, my friend's being the biggest at 16 inches. Everything on an assortment of soft plastics. I would post pics but I think everyone here knows what a 10" bass looks like.

I also hit the D last Sunday morning for a couple hours in my kayak, and fished just up river from Dingmans. Same story here, a bunch of 12-15 inch smallies. I did have one that pulled some line and felt real good, but I will never know.....off after 5 seconds of pulling.

The water was crystal clear and it was nice to hit a different area.

Nice report and great catching !!

A Delaware River smallmouth fights like nothing else. 3 or 4 times airborne is the rule for those things.
