Default Millstone river quick outing and multispecies

The river was green, low and stagnant. fished for an hour or so with worms and a white trout magnet. got 3 sunnies, a bass, and a pickerel on the magent. Those things get everything and managed 4 bullheads on worms. put all my stuff back in the car and came back with 1 rod and a brand new booyah spinnerbait for pike/bass/picks, only to get it snagged in the first 10 minutes not a bad morning though.

bummer, you using braid? that stuff never ceases to amaze me when it comes to snags. haven't lost a lure since switching and I've actually pulled trees up getting my lures back.

ps- saw the booyahs on sale somewhere, Dicks maybe?

i got my booyah at walmart for 4.29 i think. worked great in the short time using it... when it got caught on an underwater snag i was using 20lb spiderwire and it broke with a light pull. im guessing just a weak spot in the line bc it happened an hour before that while catfishing. went to set the hook on something big and it broke before i even felt any pressure. this happened to me several times before, all braided lines get mystery breaks.
