Passaic River 5/20
Decided to hit the river for a few hours tonight. Got the boat in the water around 6:30 and motored upstream for about 25/30min. Drifted back downstream working the shorelines throwing rapalas and spinners. I picked up a small pike and my buddy got 2 decent smallies.
Once the sun was down we anchored up and switched over to catfishin. Got a handfull of bullheads and a couple channels. One was beast. Took a run under the boat and spun us around. Great fighter. Great first night trip out on the river.

Nice dude! I've been out a few times this year and still haven't got a nice channel yet. I don't know whats wrong, but we're having a bad catfish year so far around here.
