Default Sick Of Striper Pictures: Too Bad more attached

Went out yesterday with the usual suspects / Capt etc. Nice ride to the hot spot in light winds. Stopped on the way on a few small bunker pods but nothing under them. Capt then made the steam to all the Jig fish you could want. Had up to 8 on at a time during the flurries. All Nice Overs SAFELY released quickly to ALL live and spawn again! NJ Fall fishing at its best!

SW kicked up a bit but you wouldn't notice on this boat

Made a couple of bottom drops on the way home. Got some Keeper C bass / Tog/ Triggerfish a stray Ling and even a short Fluke so some fish made it home. (except the unders of all bottom species of course)

Dave is that a whiting in the second to last pic in the first frame? A trip most only dream about!

It's hard to believe a fishery with that many big females is in trouble but shows the importance of protecting the spawn and ensuring healthy recruitment classes every year for every stock. When will management wake up? Answer sadly.....never.

Looked up a few images, pretty sure it's a ling but the side and shape looks a lot like a whiting. Either way, that was one helluva trip. The captain NEVER disappoints!
