Caught 4 lake fish 🐠 that weighed 43 lbs and 1 oz

Went fishing 🎣 in 84 degrees Dam Site 21 this evening on a hot 🥵, humid, sunny day with a strong south wind. Saw 7 other bank fishermen and a kayak fisherman catch nothing. Threw out canned, whole kernel corn 🌽 for chum, then caught nothing with my homemade corn meal bait and while ultralight jigging. Caught and released a redeared slider with corn 🌽 bait. Landed 46 turtles 🐢 this year. Saw a carp jump out of the lake right in front of me then I landed a 28” 10 lb 12 oz common carp with corn 🌽 bait after a great battle. Caught 45 carp this year. The 4 carp that I caught in the lake this year weighed 43 lb 1 oz for a > 10 lb per fish 🐠 average. Not bad.
