Pike/catfish/laker/trout report

Fished a bunch the last couple days on a bunch of different trips with some awesome clients. First up had mason and his dad Dave out. Trip was my first run of the summer season for hybrids. Fished a ton of different areas with no luck first pass we doubled up with a nice pike and a big cat. Thought it was gonna be game on but that wasn’t the case. The water temp was on the colder side of things then I would think this warmer warmer will get these guys snapping soon.
Fished again Friday with Arne and his two daughters conditions were right until we got out on the valley and the wind kicked up. White caps and steady winds made me make the decision to call it and head right back in. Would have loved to got this family into fish but conditions were horrible so we rescheduled to a later date. Sat back to the same venue with some south Jersey snakehead hunters looking for their first licks at the valley. Greg and zak knabbed their first limit of rainbows and first couple lakers under their belts. Two rainbows were good ones. Surgery Thursday so I’ll be down and out for a few weeks hope to be back soon. Good luck if you guys get out!
