Thumbs up Congrats Lard !

I have to congratulate Lard on a catch well done. You could probably count on one hand those who have caught a walleye out of the Raritan river pushing 30 inches. Amazing in the fact the river was cresting at 2000+CFS !!! Talk about a skillful angler, but no mention from the humble man. No bump board, no contest, no tournament, for those of us on social media we are bombarded with those almost on a daily basis. Impressive in the fact the Raritan river receives ZERO walleye stocking while places like lake Hopatcong and the Delaware river are heavily stocked. I was equally impressed with the video showing some "life" on the Raritan river. I remember turning over rocks on the banks of the North branch long ago and finding hellgrammites, I also remember the tackle store on the Delaware river called Wag's selling them in layers of wet burlap. Keep up the great work my humble man, love the videos as always, Andy !

I'm not a skillful angler; I'm a determined angler (and sometimes a lucky angler). No point in taking credit when the fish just decide to cooperate.

You're too humble. You clock hours. Put in the time. Enjoy the struggles and get exhilarated by the rewards of trophies year in and year out. Thats what it's all about.

Ive been watching your vids since you started your channel. You've amassed some unquestionable trophies. That was a gorgeous walleye. She was well fed, big eyed and thick bodied... my kinda swimming lady hahaha...

Kudos bud. They're unicorns when they're that size!

that is a very nice fish.. those do not get caught that size to often no matter what body of water you fish, congrats you got a great fish from water that is not stocked that is impressive. even if you don't think that you are a skillful angler the fish do have to cooperate to get things going but it is called fishing not catching and you got a dandy right there

More than deserved my friend. No one takes more beatings from that river than you but every once in a while you get to hit back hard. And that was definitely a knock out brother. Especially at that damned ladder!

Like Jigman I have been watching your vids for years and love the attitude and determination. And if anyone knows what it takes to catch an eye like that from that river it's Jeremy. So take credit where credit is due. Enjoy it while you can...cause you know that bitch of a river is planning her revenge as we speak. HA! Well done buddy...well done indeed.

Beautiful eye no matter where it was caught. BUT in that raging water with no net and from shore, that brings it to a whole different level. It's why fishing is contagious and such a great sport and way to blow off some steam and balance life out. You can fish hard all year without great results and get that one bite and at that time life is perfect! One helluva a catch and pretty cool how you landed that fish, congrats as well on the release. A very clean and healthy looking fish with some huge shoulders! In my world, big girls like that deserve their freedom to pass on those genes to the generations that follow us. Awesome catch my friend!

Agreed! Fish of that stature should not be kept whatsoever in NJ. Swim, spawn and make more beasts!

That stretch of the raritan holds some real monsters with so
many spots for them to hide. Going out when the rivers raging and getting rewarded always makes the trip that much more worth it. Like i always say terrible conditions or not fish still gotta eat.
