![]() Has anyone used U40 Permagloss to refinish rods. I was also considering thinning flex coat with acetone. I won't be removing the guides. Any advice will be appreciated.

![]() Permagloss makes a great guide finish. It MUCH thinner than Flex Coat and requires 3-4 coats to equal 1 Flex Coat. Be careful, it’s much “hotter” than epoxy finishes and will eat most paints. Also be sure to securely close the bottle when finished because it hardens quickly.
