Default Saturday Shark River

After getting blown all over the river on Friday, decided to try again today. Much less wind and many fewer fish. Called it a day very early as my crew
decided after over an hour without a bite to call it very early.

Ended with 1 keeper and about 12 shorts for 3 of us. Water temp. at the beginning of the incoming 58.1, 2 hours in held at 57.8. Few fish felt much colder.

Very strange drifting conditions, Ocean ave to the lagoon SSE wind, lagoon west, wind NNW. Drift in with wind and tide, hit the lagoon and went Belmar to Avon. Everyone please be aware from the 3rd house east of main st. on the Avon side to almost even with the lagoon 75 to 100 feet from the bulkhead MAJOR SILTING. You go from 12 -15 feet depth to 3 or less very quickly.

Will give it hell again on Monday.

Henry
