Friday on The Fishermen!
Got down to the boat nice and early like always and got my spot. Then the sky's opened up! It rained pretty good for a while but by the time we got to where we were fishing it was just about over. The day ended with the sun shining. We had tough conditions today. No real drift/current. So you really had to work for the fish. First few drifts were not the best and i got a couple shorts so Capt Ron went into search mode and made some moves. The bite really didnt happen till the afternoon. We started picking away at em. Moved around some more and i got 2 keepers and few shorts. The limit fish was a tough one to get but i ended up with my first limit of the 2018 season! Nothing big but still nice fish. I ended the day with about 10 shorts and my limit of 3 keepers. Oh and a big old dog fish!! Just want to say that Capt Ron went above and beyond trying to get everyone on the fish! Big thank you to Capt Ron and Joey!! Oh i almost forgot... I got my first batch of sun burn!!!! lol
