Delaware River

Going to be in New Hope, Pa in early June. I will have some young children with me. Are there fishing opportunities from shore for anything ? I was thinking maybe catfishing at night ? Is that possible ? Anything else to target ? I have to assume most catfish will be under 4 pounds. Never been there so I know nothing. Any help would be appreciated.

Bring some worms and the kids could have a field day down there! Just pick a slow eddy or slower water to fish so you don't get snagged up constantly. Plenty of species to catch!
