Round Valley Shore Fishing - 10/24

Hit Round Valley again for the 4th day in a row, and had another decent day of casting lures and sight fishing for some Rainbow Trout, even though the day started out horribly slow. Also finally landed a Golden I've been trying for for the past 3 days. Had out Shiners under slip bobbers and Powerbait on the bottom as well each day, but only been hooking up casting lures. First fish of the day was a nice 20-inch Rainbow that completely inhaled my lure and gut hooked himself, would've liked to release him, but he wasn't going to survive so he became dinner instead. Got the Golden in the net maybe 45 minutes after that, and that was it for the day. Released the Golden perfectly healthy, minus the jaw tag of course. Anyway, on to the fish porn!
