Golden Eagle - Excellent Tuna Trip

EXCELLENT tuna trip Sunday night & Monday. We fished the canyon and within 5 minutes of fishing we hooked the first fish and it went on from there.

We ended up with over 40 tuna, a combination of Yellow Fin and Long Fin tuna. At times there were 5 to 6 fish on at a time.

The largest Yellow fin was in the 100lb class.

We also boated 2 large Sword fish and a Mako over 150lbs.

Some customers boated as many as 4 fish and lost a few, others had 5 or 6 fish on but lost them all.

It was an EXCELLENT trip and with our new engines & speed we were able to make the 100 mile run in about 6 hours.
