Forecast looks favorable tonight. Looks like my trip should be a go as of now. Anyone on the Voyager tonight?

I know the trip is sold out. Kills me. My trip on the Gambler Saturday was cancelled and I'm dying to get out there :O

If they head se with nw winds you'll have a following sea and a smooth ride. Calm tomorrow. Catch 'em up.

It was Epic! Lock and load all day! Limited out on giant seabass and porgies by 11 am. Smallest sb was over 2 lbs (guy next to me was trading my smaller sb for progies). Also, had two extra bonus ling. Don't think there were any keeper cod or pollock caught. Never lost a sinker! Weather and fishing were incredible! First offshore trip but it wont be the last on the B Jamaica. |

Left dock out of PP Beach at 11:00P arrived on the grounds around 5:30A. Ride out was a little lumpy but Capt made ride comfortable for all taken it nice and easy on way out. Once we anhored up it was just like all the reports stated, drop, lock and reel all day long. Stayed on one wreck most of the trip then made a move to what seemed like much larger Sea bass. Talk about a window of weather opportunity, ocean flattened out and layers of close were coming off at 11AM. To the best of my knowledge C-Bass limits for all, 3-6lbers, large Porgy's a few Pollock (one very large didn't catch the weight) and blues. Simple Hi/Lo rigs with clam worked best got a few jigging as well, my largest knucklehead was on the jig. Held w/14oz and dropped to 12oz by 9AM. Hope you guys that got blown out last week get an opportunity to drop, lock and reel all day long before the season ends.
