Got out mid Tuesday morning with brother Joe, Sven, Kevin and Chris. Gorgeous day but a very picky bite... I think we wound up with 8 - 10 keepers.
Fish showed no preference between rigs and jigs or greens or white crabs. Just seemed like they didn't want to commit to the bait. Kevin had what we think was a nice one on a rig that came unbuttoned half way up. We probably had an equal amount of shorts and the dreaded doggies too.. We tried some shallow and deeper drops but it did not seem to matter. Mid afternoon we lost anchoring conditions when the wind dropped out and turned south but not strong enough to keep you tight on the anchor or I think we might have had a few more.. Not a bad day but certainly not great and didn't see much in the way of any signs of Stripers out or back.
