Left the barn around 7 greeted to a 10 knot north wind. Temps where much cooler TG! A north wind and outgoing tide. Finally some good conditions for drifting! Headed out to some numbers in deeper water and started drifting for fluke and sea bass. Right off the bat we caught 3 real nice ling! We where not that far offshore so bottom still must be cold. Then we started to catch some shorty fluke and some nice sea bass. Caught one 20' fluke there and the action slowed so headed a few miles inshore but by now no drift. So we started to cast out and work out jigs in. Caught a few more short fluke and one more keeper and decided to call it a day. Pretty much steady action the whole trip with fish to bring home for supper! Not a bad day! Tight lines!
