Default Bass in monksville

New to the forum. Fished up there with a buddy on Wends. Was hot, and the bass were very lazy siting on nests, very close to shore. Most of the action was white roosters, live bait and double spinnerbaits. Prob woulda been skunksville but the boat bottom is flat so I can sneak into the stumps and basically onshore

Buddy dropped a huge crappie overboard, I'll have to get more

I don't target Bass specifically much there anymore, but my best Bass days there have always been this time of year. Nice haul.

Thanks. I wanna try for walleye eventually, but I'm not ready to buy a fish)/depth finder quite yet. Wife tax is too high

In the pictures above, what kind of fish is the second from the right on the bottom. Is that a large mouth or large rock bass / crappie? Doesn't look like a large mouth. You had an awesome trip, it certainly feels good when it all comes together! Good job!

We thought it was a small mouth. Got two like that
Real short and fat
Hard to see the lip but it was shorter. He was light.
