Default Kayak Fishing and Outdoor Expo

For anyone looking for something fun to do this weekend, this should be pretty cool.

Thanks for posting. I'm currently pursuing the market for one of those.

.

Thanks for the heads-up.
I'll probably be there, depending on how hung over I am tomorrow.

Looking at the vendors not much fishing stuff, mostly yak stuff like the Paddlesport show but looks like a fun way to spend the day - I'll probably drop by... the tickets are cheap too which is nice...

Dropped by this show yesterday... extremely disappointing... definitely less brands represented there than the advertising led one to believe...a must-miss for the future...

Sat in on a few lectures which were decent. The show website stated that the presenter schedule would be posted at the show... and it was... except it didn't have any of the actual topics listed and the people running the show (physically there) didn't know and couldn't answer any questions about it. All they said was to ask the head organizer... who wasn't there the times I asked... epic fail...

Agree it was incredibly underwhelming especially with the advertised manufacturers who weren't there.

I did get a good look at one of the yaks amongst the group I've narrowed my search to that my local shop doesn't carry so not a complete dud of a trip for me.

I dropped by Saturday. I picked up a few odds-and-ends from the Kayak Fishing Store. It looks like they just emptied their store and put it out on display for the show.

The guys from Wilderness Systems had a nice display of kayaks.

It would have been nice if there were more tackle dealers there.

I couldn't figure out what was going on with the lectures. I found room #2 by accident when I was looking around for the bathroom. I never found room #3. The schedule never listed the topics or what time the actual lecture was.
