Default Christmas Week Fishing

Last year I stopped fishing on December 1st, but with this year's abnormally warm weather, couldn't resist from a couple more trips to the Ramapo river. With the warm temperatures insects started to come out and fish were definitely feeding.
The perch in the first photo is one of the biggest perch I caught yet - 14" and 1.2 pounds.
The fallfish weren't too bad either - the biggest ones measured 15" and probably weighed over a pound.

Those big perch look like they have their winter colors on!!! Good to know the Po can scratch the itch this time of year.

Good looking perch man. Those fallfish are gigantic.
