Default Gambler Fluking AM Trip

The Mrs. and I decided to go on a head boat today. Beause of her health, I had to pick a boat that was air conditioned, super clean, and roomy. That all added up to Capt. Bobby Bogans Gambler. A great comfortable boat. Seventy (70) people and there still was lots of room to walk around or sit inside. The heads (bathrooms to you landovers) were clean with the smell of deodorizer.

The smell of hamburgers is still in my nose. The cook never stopped feeding people all morning with ham and eggs, hotdogs, etc.

We ran up to the Elberon area where everyone else was. Fast ride as this boat has four diesel engines. Many short fluke caught as the wife and I caught 10 of them. The four mates did a great job helping everyone.

Thanks Gambler crew for a nice enjoyable day on the water with the wife.

We were fishing up there too. Great action with 15-17 inch fish. There was seldom a time when one of us was not hooked up. Bucktails and teasers worked as well as bait rigs. Our big fish were a 4#, 4.5#, and a 5.5#. Did the PP 1/2 day boats stay overtime? We were back at MI by 1:30 and didn't see either of the PP boats that were up fishing up north. When did you get back to the dock?

We arrived at the dock a little late.
