Thumbs up North Branch Beatdown 5/7/15:

Caught lots and lots, lost count. Can't buy a fish over 12" though.
Tried Rt. 22, a bust, everything was good below that. Only kept 1

Sounds like a nice day. I fished the small Hunterdon County streams today and got skunked for the first time this year.
Glad you got a few.

I saw those two guys in that pic on my lunch break at the 202 bridge. I caught 4 trout in less then a half hour and I headed back to work..lol I actually asked the guy on the left with the net if he happened to find that net there earlier in the season, because I lost the exact same net there in April. He said he bought it online so I left him alone about it. I was fishing that spot in April during my lunch one day and I just got done attaching my net to my back pack fished for a few minutes and realized it wasn't on my bag when I got back to the truck. So I went back the same way I walked and looked for it and it was gone in just those few short minutes. I really could care less about buying a new net because it was cheap. The net just had sentimental value to me because I netted my fathers biggest trout with it which was a ten pound rainbow. So if anyone else found my net at that spot please let me know. It was a Frabill trout net with clear rubber netting and had a brook trout on the handle.
