Nothing much yet. Some day in the next week or so they should show up inshore. Last year it started around the first week in May.

The Angler will sail at 7:00 am on Saturday and it was this time last year that we started to catch. We will sail every day till fluke season except when we have a southerly blow as that shuts the ling down inshore. I was not to sure about our chances Saturday but they are lowering the wind forecasts. We do this every year before fluke season and I can"t wait Thanks Captain George

Thumbs up Re: Ling Catches

I was out on a nonsponsor charter, out of Leonardo yesterday. Last attempt at finding some Tog. Tog bite again was very slow to almost nonexastent. Last drop of the day and the Captain comes up with a nice Ling.

The Ling-A-Dings saved the day. Not a mad dog bite but we did manage to put a couple dozen in the box, all nice sized fih. So, yes, there is hope!
