Default Florida update-Pompano,Black Drum,Sheepshead and Blues

Been bouncing around from Merit Island to Sebastian Inlet. On the weekend we fished from our16' skiff in the Intracoastal off Merit Island. Nice limit of black drum up to 26'' and some sheepshead. Today was Sebastian Inlet from the South jetty. Nice Pompano ,Black Drum and Sheepshead. All the small blues you could want on spoons with some Spanish Mackeral mixed in. Tons of hard fighting jacks. It was 82 degrees today with a nice breeze. Eight bucks per car to get in and a bucket of live shrimp.Less than twenty bucks for the day. No Snook today but still a fun productive day with out spending much money. Couple fluke were also caught. Still in the learning mode but enjoying trying all the different spots.

Small world Sal. I was fishing the north jetty of the Sebastian Inlet with my Grandson on Wednesday afternoon for a few hours. We have been bouncing around too. While the ladies are shopping or eating lunch we sneak off like a couple of school boys. We have been to Fort Pierce inlet and Stuart but Sebastian is our new favorite. Nice long Jetty with a peer over it that juts out into the ocean pretty far and a bait shop right in the park too.

No luck fishing for us but we watched a Manatee come out of the inlet and he came up for a breath of air 5 yards away from us.

It's great spending some quality time with him. Both of us leave our phones and game boys home and we actually talk
