![]() Hit the big D, just north of Bulls Island with the boat. Water is super clear. Managed a few smallies with the biggest around 18". White spinner baits and crayfish plugs were doing the trick. If I remember correctly, water temp was 59. Had three smallies following one in as I was reeling it in and they were all trying to get at the crayfish plug. Pretty cool to watch in clear water.

![]() Love fishing the Delaware & haven't during fall in ages. It must be real nice w/the clear water; that's when I best like to fish it. Walleye might be good come Nov. I know a contingent of guys catches smallmouths--larger--right on through winter, if no ice. You can put a tube jig on bottom, 38 degree water, dead stick letting slow current move plastic tentacles.... Have to say crankbait action now seems more appealing.

That's great. It's amazing how clear the water is now. Even after today's rain the water is still quite low. .
