Default help on winter storage

I know it's depressing to start thinking about winter already
anyway I am looking for a boatyard to store my boat. My boat is in Jersey city. I have been storing my boat in liberty harbor marina in the past years. It's getting so expensive now. Had my boat in Lockwood for 2years but they have restrictions on bringing your own mechanic. Can someone recommend a place where I can store my boat on the dry dock with reasonable price? It doesn't have to have water access as long as they offer trailer pickup at the municipal launch in Atlantic highlands. I remember I used mammoth Atlantic cycling once and they picked up my boat there.
I have 27 ft power boat.

Thanks for your time.

Jasmine

Blackfoot Marine in The Atlantic Highlands. 5 blocks to the marina.
Friends have kept their boats there for years with no problems

Try Hackensack Yacht Club. Cant get more convenient for that to work on. And no labor restrictions.

I have taught there for 6 years.

thanks for all the info.

Wagners Boat Yard in Leonardo doesn't have dry dock. Blackfoot has restrictions on bringing your own mechanices.
Will check Hackensack.

Has anyone used Atlantic Highlands Municipal Marina? I put in the application. The rate seems very reasonable.

thanks!

If your talking about a summer slip for next year. Im sure theres a waiting list. I waited 2 years. Big mistake. MY boat took such a beating there. Everytime i got on board was like a sand box. Distroyed my pump. and I was using a shovel to get most of the sand out. Low tide u have to be careful getting on boat. Couldnt bring kids or wife on. had to bring boat to the floating dock so they could bored. And it just goes on and on. Ud have better luck if u can get a spot in the back.
If they do dry docking now, than thats new to me.

Try Morgan marina. They'll just haul you out and block it. Really nice people to deal with.

I do like the people at Morgan marina very nice. But there prices are alittle high. I have mine at Browns boat yard which is right next to them. Prices are cheaper and you get the same results. And the workers there are very nice as well. The owner just treated all the boat onwers to a picnic just a few months ago.
