Couple Recent Catches
I've made it out once or twice since my horrendous skunking at the pike-a-thon. Spent a couple hours at the shed recently and picked up a decent shed trifecta. Larry, smallie, and 2 pickerel on a calm sunny morning. Bass went 15-17", pickerel went 24-26". Def felt good to wash off the skunk!!!!
Then, over the weekend I dragged the wifey to a new spot bright and early. The launch was...........a challenge, lol.  But she was a trooper and the action was pretty steady. First spot landed us on a nice school of hungry slabs. Hooked into around 7-8 of em before we moved on. Bit later on we hooked up with some perch and short smallies. All in all a successful trip. Impressive pickerel and smallmouth. Looks like a successful trip on several fronts. Nice job.
