BOUNTY HUNTER - Open Boat Striper Report, 5/27
Capt. Paul ran another Open Boat Striper trip today. On board were regulars Walt, Tom, Allan, John, Eric and newcomer to the Bounty Hunter, Jill. The Bunker schools were scattered and snagging was difficult. After getting a few dozen in the Well we headed north and set up on some good reads. After putting a couple Bass in the box our bait supply was down to zero thanks to the Blues and several missed opportunities. A bait delivery from Capt. Derek and Capt. Darren, (Fisher Price and Mary Lou Crew) put us back into the game and another 2 nice Bass were added to the catch along with a few Blues. We put out the Trolling gear for the last hour but came up empty. It was a beautiful day on the water with a great crew.
