Bergen County Spot Hoppin' 4/27

Hey All!

Staying close to home lately because i'm still recovering from an injury. But, that's not gonna stop the fishin'!

Hit Overpeck for the second time this year. Still no love on the stripers, but it can sometimes take a while.

Hit Tenakill Brook for the third time. Caught two keeper browns the first time, and one keeper brown the second. Today was slow, but a seeming hungry Carp grabbed my My Mepps! At least 5 pounds, which isn't bad for a tiny creek. As I walked I started seeing them everywhere. I hope they don't decimate the trout population.

So, pretty decent fishing so far this close to home and on very limited time. Can't wait to get out to more adventurous spots!
