Default WTB:Anchor line

Trying to save a little money on a second anchor (wreck) that I have my eyes on. PM me if your looking to sell some line. Also, anyone using wreck anchors on the reefs with no chain? Using hose for abrasion? Does the need for chain for drop rate and ease of hook up quickly right where you want outweight the chance of getting it snagged and losing everything?

Thanks
BRM

Thanks, using line for a wreck anchor, looking for 300 feet of nylon, going no chain with hose. Saw something on ebay, 3/8 300 ft double braided nylon with a a spliced thimble for $75 bucks, 25 cents a foot not bad I guess, should hold a 23 foot boat.

Make sure the rope is not made in China. Anything I seen that came from there got stiff after a year of use. I use a short piece of chain on my grapple after I had the rope cut by rubbing on the structure never had a problem with the chain. Never thought of using hose. What kind of hose do you use and how has it worked for you?
